Bathurst Site:

Fridays: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Walk‑in Only)

• Patients are seen on a first‑come, first‑served basis until the clinic reaches capacity for the day.

• Please expect longer wait times during flu and winter seasons.

Saturdays: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (Walk‑in Only)

Garrison Creek Site:

Saturdays: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (Walk‑in Only)

How do I know if the issue is urgent?

Examples of urgent medical concerns can include a new injury, chest pain, difficulty breathing, new abdominal pain, urinary tract infections, a sick child OR more than 48 hours of fever/ vomiting/ diarrhea in adults.

Non-urgent concerns, such as follow-ups, prescription renewals, form completion and reviewing test results should be booked during regular clinic times with your primary care provider.

Avoid walk-in clinics

Maintain the circle of care. Please always avoid walk-in clinics.

• Community walk-in clinics do not have access to your medical history
• Your family doctor is rarely notified about a walk-in visit and is therefore unable to provide any necessary follow-up care
• All TW FHT health care providers have access to your detailed medical history and can provide appropriate care specific to your needs. Your medical records are updated and remain clear and consistent
• Your family doctor is always made aware of your after-hours visit at the TW FHT and can easily follow up with you if necessary
• There are financial penalties to us when you visit a walk-in clinic

Telephone Health Advisory Service

While our physicians do reserve same-day appointments for urgent medical needs, you may not know if your issue can wait until the clinic opens. The Telephone Health Advisory Service (THAS) offers TW FHT patients after-hours telephone health advice. THAS is available outside regular clinic hours at 1-866-553-7205.
