Are you having trouble sleeping, such as falling or staying asleep? This in-person workshop is for patients and caregivers interested in learning about strategies to improve their sleep without medications.
Sleep therapy includes stimulus control, sleep restriction therapy, muscle relaxation, and cognitive behavioural therapy strategies. It is a safe and effective way to improve your sleep.
In this 2-hour workshop, you will learn:

About the sleep-wake cycle and myths about sleep

How to improve sleep using stimulus control and sleep restriction strategies

How to monitor sleep using a sleep diary

How to use tools and strategies to challenge the racing mind

How to relax the body and mind through meditation and relaxation exercises

How to adjust sleeping schedules to have more consistent sleep
This in-person workshop is exclusively available to TW FHT patients. However, this workshop is also offered online as a 2-part workshop series. Online sessions are open to both TW FHT and non-TW FHT patients. If you prefer to attend this workshop online, register for Sleep Therapy: Online.
